  • Rev. Joshua Fitterling, Minister

A native of Pennsylvania, Josh grew up on his parent’s farm in Mohrsville, PA along with his older brother, James. With his sights initially set on teaching math, Josh received his Bachelor Degree in Mathematics from Lebanon Valley College in 2012. Nevertheless, the call to ministry was already being discerned and Josh went on to receive his Master of Divinity degree from Lancaster Theological Seminary in 2015. He was ordained into Christian Ministry on May 24, 2015 in the United Church of Christ. Josh began serving as our pastor on March 1, 2017 and is always excited to discover new ways of combining his experience, his love of God, and his passion for ministry with the passions, people, and ministries of our church and community. Previously, Josh has served as Pastoral Resident of Wellesley Village Church in Wellesley, Massachusetts (2015-2017) and as Stated-Supply Pastor of New Jerusalem Zion UCC in Lenhartsville, Pennsylvania (2013-2015). Josh enjoys exploring new places, meeting new people, and spending time outdoors. He also hopes to find a balance between exploring Maine’s extensive culinary scene and exercising at the Wiscasset Community Center! If you see him around town, feel free to say “hello!” He would love to meet you!
